We need friendly and outgoing volunteers who are comfortable with assisting our event managers in running a smooth schedule of events throughout the event. In this role, you will support Telling Tales authors, illustrators, and storytellers as they lead our young guests through stories that celebrate the great outdoors. We are seeking volunteers to drop off our posters and bookmarks within a geographical area during the week of August 7th. Each of these shifts includes that August 7th date, but there is flexibility in when things are distributed. This may include local bulletin boards, dropping off certain amounts at community partners, or leaving a few at your favourite coffee shop in your given region. This role involves movement across a given area of the city with fairly hefty posters and bookmarks. Please note that a vehicle is not necessary in order to perform this role.

We need friendly and outgoing volunteers to help our Festival-goers into the park. In this role, you will scan codes on provided devices and direct visitors through the Main Entrance of the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Our Merch Table is located within our Rose Stage Tent, and gets a perfect view of our headliners throughout the day! This role involves selling our Telling Tales branded items to guests throughout the day. This role involves minimal movement and can be done from a seated position. It is in a large tent in the shade.

You will be working with volunteer leaders at the RBG to get everything ready for the start of the day! You will be assigned jobs on arrival.

Festival Take Down is a critical role and we need volunteers to help pack up books from book swap; take down tents and signs; retrieve supplies from the stages and return materials to the truck [...]
