Telling Tales is pleased to work with teachers and school boards to provide various year-round programs and resources for educators to utilize in the classroom and share with their students.
Celebrating Graphic Novels (June)
Our series of presentations featuring new Canadian graphic novels for children and teens. Join us for interactive virtual author visits—broadcasting LIVE to schools across Canada. This is your chance to follow along with Canada’s finest graphic novelists as they share their stories.
We maintain an extensive video library of presentations by Canadian authors, illustrators, musicians, and storytellers. We also feature Dragonfly Tales, a video series of book recommendations from our school liaison, Laura and her daughter Ruby.
Educators Packages are available to accompany many of our watch on demand video/book titles. Available free for download and use in the classroom.
Our Creativity Club is a fun and simple way to engage your classroom with monthly writing/drawing prompts and a “quick fire challenge”.
We partner with both the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) and Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) to bring a unique series of presentations to their students each year. These series are tailor-made to fit with their educational goals as a board, featuring Telling Tales’ authors and reading list titles. If you are an educator or administrator in a board other than the two listed above, please get in touch for more information.
