When nature and literature connect it makes for a magical day of family fun! Our beloved Nature Tales will become a very special part of our two day Telling Tales Festival at Royal Botanical Gardens with a dedicated Nature Tales zone.
Take a trip to the The Dan Lawrie International Sculpture Collection in Royal Botanical Gardens’ Hendrie Garden. Our Nature Tales Zone will feature a variety of fun and interactive presentations on the Nature Tales stage. Visitors can explore RBG Discovery Stations to learn about monarchs, wetlands, birds and how we to help wildlife. Borrow the RBG Discovery pack to get an even closer look. Enjoy an RBG guided nature and/or sculpture tours throughout the day.
NATURE TALES STAGE
Join us near Aquagraphie Variation 2, one of the thought-provoking pieces that make up the Dan Lawrie International Sculpture Collection. The Nature Tales Stage features a variety of nature-themed presentations and activities, including author readings, science activities, and storytellers. These presentations are designed for family audiences and would be most enjoyed by kids in the primary grades—children ages 4 to 8. Bring a blanket for lawn seating in this quiet corner of Hendrie Park.
