Plasticine illustration workshop – All the elements of working with clay, but it’s ready to take home at the end of the workshop! Students would be provided a piece of cardstock and a pencil to draw out a scene from their favourite book. Instead of colouring in their drawing, they would overlay plasticine to add texture, colour and whatever other details they’d like, either in 2D or 3D. It’s a really lovely tactile experience for the kids that teaches them about illustration and using familiar media in a new way!
