The AGH is thrilled to partner with the Telling Tales Festival this year, helping to promote youth adoration and appreciation for reading and the arts. Visit the AGH booth in the Global Garden to participate in arts-based activities that are fun and engaging for all ages! The AGH will feature its giant-sized community paint-by-numbers board and provide AGH-exclusive colouring pages! The AGH will also facilitate a ‘make your own storybook’ station, which utilizes zine-making (mini magazines) techniques and literacy skills.
While at the booth, be sure to chat with AGH volunteers and staff to learn more about upcoming family programming hosted at the gallery, including the 2023 AGH Festival, running from October 12-21st. The AGH Festival is a multidisciplinary festival with 10 days filled with events, activities, pop-ups, and workshops celebrating a range of artistic mediums and practices. For example, on Sunday, October 15, join us for Family Fun Day: Hamilton’s Got Talent!
