Teresa Caterini (she/they) is a queer social worker and performer based in Hamilton.  Volunteering with survivors of trauma and working alongside people living with chronic illness inspired them to pursue an MSW from University of Windsor.  Over the past five years, Teresa has worked in mental health crisis response, providing support in community and in hospitals, and growing a practice of amplifying voices.  Teresa is currently balancing work in an outpatient clinic, while coordinating with people who have lived expertise to create change in social service organizations.  Their performance work is also focused on community — performing in collectives, choirs, and collaborations over the past decade.  Teresa is primarily moved and motivated by the vast resilience of people and nature, and the magic that happens when we listen to the wisdom and appreciate the creativity in each other.  When they are not performing, working, and organizing, Teresa is tending to their family, garden, and pets.
