The Young Adult Tent features accessible readings, panels, and conversations for youth ages 13+. Audiences are invited to engage in conversations with authors and artists taking on topics from activism, comics, identity politics, becoming an author, romance, horror, and more! Meet Canada’s leading Young Adult fiction and nonfiction authors and illustrators.

The Young Adult Tent is located in RBG’s Cherry Hill Tent, West of the Rose Garden and includes activity stations to accommodate different styles of audience engagement, as well as a small quiet tent located adjacent to the presentation tent for youth that prefer to be slightly removed from amplified sounds and would like to use Telling Tales’ collection of fidget toys and drawing materials.

Directly following each presentation head to Epic Books, Official YA Bookseller/Autograph Tent (located in the same area) to buy your favourite featured book and have it signed by the creator!

These presentations are aimed at youth ages 13+ and will contain content and language appropriate for a young adult audience. Parental Guidance is recommended for children 12 and under interested in attending these presentations.
