Aliens. So many aliens. Aliens on ice. Aliens in the basement. Meet two of Canada’s favourite graphic novelists, J. Torres author of Planet Hockey: First Star of the Game and Dom Pelletier, author of The Lunch Club: It Came From The Basement, as they share their step-by step secrets of how to illustrate and create a graphic novel. Aliens are definitely included.

While we can’t wait to be able to see everyone in person in the future for this season, we’ll be online, which mean that you don’t have to be in Hamilton to participate! We can’t wait to welcome teens and tweens from across Canada and beyond as they connect with these two talented Canadian children’s authors/illustrators.

Be sure to have a pencil/pen and paper with you. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Our friends at Scholastic Books have provided some fun online activities that you can view and download from their website.

Here is Dom’s series web page for The Lunch Club, with activities at the bottom: View these activities online
