“Come to me, my X-Men, Avengers Assemble, Thunder, thunder, ThunderCats Ho, Super Dee Duper”, our favourite superheroes and comic book characters use Iconic Catch Phrases to signify action and movement. In this workshop, youth will create a superhero persona, develop an original scene, write original dialogue, and perform their dialogue in front of their super-heroes peers.
Great characters make a great story, but what makes a great character? Through this workshop, Ian Keteku and Gavin Ball teach how to make great characters and how to bring them to life through simple scenes, dialogue, and with amazing catch phrases.
Youth will have their characters drawn by visual artists as they perform their dialogue and deliver their catchphrase.
