Telling Tales is known for its amazing events that include Celebrating Graphic Novels, our Main Event and Nature Tales. Our events are attended by thousands of visitors each year and bring together the very best Canadian talent. Our festival offers an opportunity for children to connect with their favourite authors, illustrators and storytellers.

Telling Tales Festival is recognized as one of the key annual events in Canadian publishing, dedicated solely to children’s literature. It is a Top 100 Festivals and Events Ontario award winner.

Our 2020 events will look much different than other years as we bring our festival online for the first time ever. In a world where we can’t currently hold large gatherings, we look forward to bringing you our virtual festival and help Stories Connect Us!

Meet Our Host – Josh Taylor

Our host Josh Taylor is a self-described Choreographer, Dancer, Hip-Hop Head, Foodie, Comic Book Geek and Pun Distributor who is also the Owner & Director of Defining Movement Dance.
